  • ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest optional
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare your pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  • Make the filling: Peel, core, and slice the apples. Toss them with sugar, flour, lemon juice, zest, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
