- 1 pound medium or small pasta shells
- 1 pound imitation crab meat
- 1 cup finely chopped celery
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot optional
- 2 1/2 cups mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- fresh dill optional for garnish
Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain and let it cool.
Chop the imitation crab meat into bite-sized pieces.
In a large bowl, mix pasta, crab, celery, and shredded carrots (if using).
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, milk, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
