- Peel and thinly slice the cucumbers.

- Slice the white onion (optional) and set aside.

- In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream (or Greek yogurt), mayonnaise, chopped dill, white vinegar, and granulated sugar.

- Stir the dressing ingredients together until smooth.
- Add the sliced cucumbers and onion (if using) to the dressing.
- Toss gently to coat all the ingredients in the creamy dressing.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before serving.
