Prepare Sweet Potatoes:
- If using raw sweet potatoes, peel and cube them. Boil in water until tender, then mash.

- If using canned yams, drain and mash them.
Combine Ingredients:
- Add the mashed sweet potatoes to the slow cooker.

- Stir in melted butter, heavy cream, eggs, brown sugar, and cinnamon until fully combined.
Cook in Slow Cooker:
- Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on Low for 4 hours.

Add Marshmallows:
- Just before serving, top the casserole with mini marshmallows. Cover again and cook for an additional 3–5 minutes, or until the marshmallows begin to melt.

Serve:
- Serve the sweet potato casserole immediately while warm.
