- 2 pounds beef stew meat cut into 1-inch pieces
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- 4 medium carrots sliced
- 3 medium potatoes diced
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 stalk celery chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 large bay leaf
Prep the beef: In a large bowl, coat the beef with flour, salt, and pepper.
Layer ingredients: Place beef, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic in the Crockpot.
Add liquids & seasoning: Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and add paprika and a bay leaf.
Slow cook: Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until beef is tender.
