- 1 1/2 lbs 700g medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 1/2 lbs 700g broccoli (1 1/2 crown ) rinsed and cut into florets
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 5 clove garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- Salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup 60ml vegetable stock
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha or any hot sauce you like
- Crushed chili pepper flakes optional
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Fresh chopped parsley or cilantro for garnish
Sauté Broccoli: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet, cook broccoli for 4-6 minutes until crisp-tender. Remove and set aside.
Cook Shrimp: In the same pan, melt butter, add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add Seasonings: Stir in garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, and onion powder. Flip shrimp and cook for another minute.
Make the Sauce: Pour in vegetable stock and Sriracha, then let it reduce slightly for 1 minute.
Combine & Finish: Add broccoli back to the pan, toss everything together, squeeze fresh lemon juice, and heat for another 1-2 minutes.
Serve: Garnish with parsley, lemon slices, and chili flakes if desired. Enjoy immediately!
