Garlic Honey Lime Shrimp Recipe

This sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy shrimp is packed with flavor! The garlic, honey, and lime come together beautifully in a sticky, caramelized sauce. Serve it over rice, pasta, or enjoy it as an appetizer for a quick and easy meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 500g shelled and deveined shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • chopped parsley

Instructions
 

Prepare the Shrimp:

  • Rinse 1 lb (500g) shrimp under cold water.
  • Drain and set aside.

Heat the Skillet:

  • In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon melted unsalted butter over medium heat.
  • Add 4 cloves minced garlic and sauté until slightly golden and fragrant.

Cook the Shrimp:

  • Stir in the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes.

  • Add 3 tablespoons honey, 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice, ¼ teaspoon salt, and 3 dashes of cayenne pepper.

Let the Sauce Thicken:

  • Stir and cook for 2-3 more minutes until the shrimp turns pink and the sauce thickens.

Garnish and Serve:
