Measuring cups & spoons
- 1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (4–5 small chicken breasts)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp minced garlic heaping
- Olive oil
- Fresh parsley
- Salt
- Black pepper
Prepare the glaze: In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, chicken broth, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic.
Season the chicken: Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of the chicken breasts.
Sear the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown.
Add the glaze: Pour the prepared maple glaze over the chicken, reducing heat to a simmer.
Simmer and coat: Let the chicken cook for 10–12 minutes, spooning the glaze over it occasionally until it thickens.
Check for doneness: Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) before removing from heat.
Garnish and serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve warm with your favorite sides.
